The brief

## What the client asked for.

Woosh Air sells smart HVAC air filtration to homes in the US. The product is a reusable smart filter frame with sensors, folding MERV 13 filter refills and an Air Quality Monitor, model AQM-1A-1, built around an Espressif ESP32-WROOM-32E module.

Electronics, plastic parts and filters were all made in China. Woosh asked us for complete alternate sourcing: every part family reviewed, each one made where it gives the best result, and every order still delivered to customers in the US.

### Split the product by part family

We treated electronics, plastics and filters as three separate sourcing decisions, so each part family could go where it performs best instead of moving everything at once.

### Electronics to India

PCB fabrication and PCB assembly moved from China to India. The boards are built around the Espressif ESP32-WROOM-32E module that powers the Air Quality Monitor.
