### What is bagasse?

Bagasse is the fibre left after sugarcane is crushed for juice. It is pulped and moulded into plates, bowls and food containers.

### Are areca leaf products made from cut trees?

No. They are made from sheaths that fall naturally from areca palms, which are cleaned and heat-pressed without binders.

### Can agri-residue tableware take hot food?

Most bagasse and areca items handle hot and oily food, and many tolerate short microwave use. Confirm it on samples with the supplier's test data before you print claims on packaging.
