Measure shafts off the line. Every part can be in tolerance while the process sits close to the edge. Measure enough and the histogram shows the real picture: process capability, or Cpk.

Measure at least ten parts for a meaningful Cpk. Most buyers ask for 1.33 or better.

Packaging tests

Packed to arrive perfect.

ISTA 1A drops a package ten times from a height set by its weight: one corner, three edges, six faces. Pick the board and the weight, then run the test the way our lab partners do.

Drop heights per ISTA 1A. Results use an illustrative board-strength model to show the method; your packaging is tested by an accredited lab.

What is a pre-shipment inspection?

An inspection of finished, packed goods before the balance payment and shipment. Our inspector draws a random sample using ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1), checks quantity, workmanship, function, dimensions, packing and labelling, and issues a photo report.

What AQL level should I use?

Most consumer goods use General Inspection Level II with AQL 0 for critical defects, 2.5 for major and 4.0 for minor. For a lot of 3,500 units that means checking 200 units. Our AQL tool calculates your plan.

What does a factory audit cover?

The quality management system, production capability and capacity, machines and maintenance, incoming and outgoing inspection, and social compliance basics. You receive a scored report with photos and recommended actions.

What do inspections and audits cost?

Pre-shipment, in-line and loading inspections start at USD 229 per person-day, with travel included within the main clusters. A one-day factory audit is USD 298. We confirm the inspector and the fixed price the same working day.

Can I verify a SourceSquid report?

Yes. Every report carries a unique code. Enter it on our verify page to confirm the report is genuine and see its date, type and result.

Do you inspect in China and Vietnam as well as India?

Yes. Our own team covers India and China, and we inspect in Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand for selected categories with trusted partner inspectors working to our checklists.
