P20 and other pre-hardened steels are common for medium volumes, with H13 or stainless mould steel for high volumes or corrosive resins.
Can I move an existing mould to India?
Yes. Many moulders take over transferred tools, but plan for a trial run and minor repairs.
How are textures specified?
Quote a Mold-Tech or VDI 3400 reference and supply a textured plaque for approval.
