What experienced buyers put in the RFQ and check on arrival.

State GSM, thread count, colour fastness and shrinkage targets in the order.
For rugs, agree knot density or pile height and backing material in writing.
Test colour fastness to washing and rubbing, and flammability where your market requires it.

Where are rugs made in India?

Bhadohi–Mirzapur is India's main carpet belt. Panipat is strong in flat-woven and recycled rugs, Jaipur and Agra in rugs and dhurries, and Srinagar in fine hand-knotted wool and silk.

What are Karur and Solapur known for?

Karur is known for kitchen, table and bed linen made to export specifications. Solapur is famous for terry towels and chaddars.

Can home textiles be made with organic or recycled fibre?

Yes. Many exporters offer GOTS organic cotton and recycled cotton or polyester, and Panipat is a leading centre for recycled yarn.
